Privacy Policy
Overview
Edge Lighting lets users create and apply animated edge-lighting effects as a non-interactive overlay above other apps. The application does not require users to create an account.
Most application settings, generated effects, and edge-lighting configurations are stored locally on the user's device.
Information Processed by the Application
The application may store settings and generated effect configurations locally, including choices such as colors, animation speed, border width, pattern style, corner radius, and whether edge lighting is enabled.
Flow Motion does not operate a server that receives these edge-lighting settings or generated effect configurations.
Display Over Other Apps Permission
The application uses Android's "display over other apps" permission only after the user chooses to enable edge lighting. This permission lets the application draw a non-interactive edge border above other apps.
The application does not read or capture screen content, and does not change the user's wallpaper. It does not directly request access to the user's contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, photos, or videos.
Advertising
Edge Lighting displays optional rewarded advertisements provided by Google AdMob. A rewarded advertisement may be offered when a user without Premium chooses to unlock an additional in-app benefit.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process information such as:
- The device's IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- Interactions with advertisements, including ad views and engagement;
- Diagnostic information related to app and ad performance;
- Device and account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID, where available; and
- Basic device, operating system, application, and network information.
Google may use this information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, subject to the user's privacy choices and Google's applicable policies.
Personalized and Non-Personalized Ads
Depending on the user's region, privacy choices, device settings, and applicable law, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.
Personalized ads may use information such as advertising identifiers and previous interactions to select more relevant advertisements. Non-personalized ads are selected using more limited information, such as contextual information and general location.
Consent and Privacy Choices
The application uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent where required.
In regions where privacy options are required, users can review or change their advertising privacy choices through the application's "Privacy settings" option.
Advertising is requested only when the consent system indicates that the application is permitted to request ads.
Google AdMob
Google AdMob is provided by Google LLC. Information processed through Google Mobile Ads is handled according to Google's terms and privacy practices.
In-App Purchase
The application offers an optional one-time Premium purchase through Google Play. Premium provides permanent ad-free access and unlimited spins. Purchases are processed by Google Play.
Flow Motion does not receive or store users' payment card information. Google may process purchase and transaction information according to its own terms and privacy policies.
Data Sharing
Flow Motion does not sell personal information.
Limited advertising, device, interaction, network, and diagnostic information may be collected or processed by Google through AdMob for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Data Security
Local edge-lighting settings and generated effect configurations remain on the user's device unless the user removes the application data or uninstalls the application.
Information transmitted to Google services is protected in transit using industry-standard encryption. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local application data can be removed by clearing the application's data in Android settings or uninstalling the application.
Advertising and consent-related information processed by Google is retained according to Google's service settings, retention practices, and applicable legal requirements.
Users may also reset or manage the Android advertising ID through their device's privacy settings, where supported.
Children's Privacy
Edge Lighting is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
Flow Motion does not knowingly request names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct contact information from children through the application.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when application features, permissions, advertising services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page together with its updated date.
